The Christ Church Choir has been invited to be the Choir in Residence at St. Mary’s Episcopal Cathedral, in Edinburgh, Scotland, this coming July. Our clergy and choir will lead worship services for the week, with Evensong each day, and Eucharist on Sunday.

This will be Christ Church’s third residency, having served at cathedrals in Bristol in 2016 and Salisbury in 2023. It is always an honor to have been selected, as choir audition tapes are sent in from all around the world!

Your ticket donation to this fundraiser event will help augment the choir with additional professional voices during the residency.

Our choir members pay their own way for a residency, however, we cover the travel costs of our professional singers who help us create a sound and performance commensurate with the space and tradition of a cathedral such as St. Mary’s. They are not paid for this work, and they do give up a week of their personal vacation time to help us out!
